Looking for German Classes in Tucson, AZ?

Have you wanted to learn German for a while and are finally ready to get serious?

Or perhaps you’ve started learning German with Duolingo, Rosetta stone, etc., but find they’re not teaching you the ‘bigger picture’ of how German actually works.

Sometimes even finding a good German class locally can be challenging, though.

So, I created two resources to help guide you:

  1. Below I listed ALL the German learning options in the Tucson area.
  2. I created a FREE training for you entitled: ‘How to Actually Learn German and Avoid Wasting Years Trying’. ( ➡️ Click here to access)

German language classes:

Although I’m not aware of any german classes for adults in the Tucson area, there is one nice option for children.

German Saturday School

The German American School Association established a children’s German School for children 4-17 and Kinderland Schools ages 3-5. The classes are held on Saturdays with ‘Kinderland’ Schools offer twice a week in the morning or afternoon.

The school is located in the ‘International School of Tucson’ building.

Learn more about the school and the teachers here.

German in a college setting:

The University of Arizona

The University of Arizona has an extensive offering of German classes and three degree options including a bachelor’s degree in German studies, a master’s degree in German studies, and a Doctoral degree in transcultural German studies.

All three of ASU’s degree offerings are designed for learning the German language, culture, and history among other areas of focus.

Pima Community College

Pima Community College offers German from time to time, though they don’t keep the best current class listings on their website so if you’re interested it’s going to be best to give them a call.

Here’s the little info they do have on their site
